Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information EQid Inventory ("EQid", "we", "us") collects when you visit eqidinventory.com or eqidinventory.net, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Pages you visit. When you view a page, we record the page address, the website that referred you, your browser type, and the date and time of the visit.
- Your IP address and organization. We record the internet (IP) address your visit comes from. We use an IP data service (IPinfo) to look up the organization that owns that address, such as a hospital, company, or internet provider. We do not use it to find your street address or identify you personally.
- Google sign-in (optional). If you choose to continue with Google on eqidinventory.com, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture, and, for work accounts, your organization's domain. We receive this only when you click to continue; closing the prompt shares nothing.
- Information you send us. If you contact us or request a demo, we keep what you provide (for example your name, organization, email, phone number, and message).
How we use it
- To understand which organizations are interested in EQid and which pages they find useful.
- To follow up with you about EQid when you have signed in with Google or contacted us.
- To operate, secure, and improve our websites.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use Google sign-in data for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our websites and business, such as our hosting provider, IPinfo for organization lookups, and our email provider, and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Cookies and local storage
Our sites use your browser's local storage to remember whether you have already been offered Google sign-in, so the prompt appears at most once a week, and to recognize you on later visits after you choose to sign in. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep visit records and sign-in details for as long as they are useful for the purposes above, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
- You can dismiss the Google sign-in prompt; nothing is shared unless you click to continue.
- You can revoke EQid's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@eqidinventory.com.
Children
Our websites are intended for businesses and healthcare organizations and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
